The file EDR3_GDR2_GCNS_Corrections.csv contains objects that have been observed by Gaia but to be incorrectly included or rejected from the GCNS. These entries fall into the following catergorie: 1) In the rejected list (GCNS_reject) but should have been included 2) In the accepted list (GCNS_cat) but should have been rejected 3) In the EDR3 without a parallax but based on ground based or GDR2 have a reliable parallax > 10mas. This means all these objects have at one point been in the published Gaia releases, objects that are not in the releases because they are too faint, bright or what ever reason should not be in the file. As a result all entries will have a Gaia Source ID. This file will be used to update the GCNS_reject and GCNS_cat files with these corrections. The details of the solutions if they are in the Gaia release will be taken directly from the published catalogs so in this file only approximate values need to be provided. Anyone can indicate corrections in the Google Doc at the space https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1QjZdqUYs6lJX2cPbGNm5Ss7UKYt0zvld?usp=sharing these changes will be checked and if agreed added to the files on the main data site. The included columns are below, only source_id, dr, name, and reasonname are actually required fields except when the parallax comes from an external source in which case both parallax and parallax_ADSBibcode are required : source_id The source ID from the latest Gaia release with a parallax dr The data release corresponding to the sourceID, 2=GDR2, 3=EDR3 objectname A simbad name in100pc 0=no -> e.g. should be rejected, 1=yes should be in GCNS_cat parallax approximate parallax in mas parallax_error approxmate parallax error in mas parallax_bibcode the standard reference bib code Gmag approximate G magnitude Gmagcode Code to indicate source of G magnitude (see below) name Initials of person making proposed change (see below) reasonname reason for proposed change, please do not include commas Further details Gmagcode: the code to indicate where the G magnitude estimate comes from, below are the options: 2 == Use the Gaia DR1 value 2 == Use the Gaia DR2 value 3 == Use the Gaia EDR3 value 21 == Used directly the GUNN r band magnitude name: The initials of who is making the proposed change RLS == Richard Smart, richard.smart@inaf.it
